Single-car wreck kills woman, injures 3 others near Ellensburg

Comments Off

A woman died and three others were hospitalized after a single-car accident on Interstate 90 Friday morning. Hgan Thi Than, 27, of Olympia was driving west in a 1994 Acura when she crossed into the eastbound lanes and went over the guardrail about six miles east of Ellensburg at about 10:15 a.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.

There are many potential causes of one-car accidents. Driver error is the most frequent. But one-car accidents can also be caused by the fault of third-parties like negligent highway design. Any time there is a bad accident, the causes should be carefully investigated.
