An Aberdeen woman (Deborah Vaughn-Alejandro) died on July 30, 2006. She was a passenger in one of four vehicles that were involved in the wreck.
The State Patrol reports that the accident that killed Deborah Vaughn-Alejandro was one of five accidents that took on a portion of I-5 where state Department of Transportation had lanes closed for construction.
In addition to claims agains the at-fault drivers, the injured persons and the family of Ms. Vaughn-Alejandro may also have claims against the Deparatment of Transportation.
