At about 4 p.m. on February 16, a Geo Prism was spotted driving erratically southbond on I-5 before it crossed the center median and collided head-on with an oncoming car. The two drivers died at the scene. Two passengers in the Prism were airlifted to Harborview Medical Center, one of which died during her treatment at the hospital. One of the first troopers at the scene found a beer can right outside the driver’s door of the Prism, leading them to believe alcohol may have been a factor.
The families of the victims should immediately contact a personal injury attorney to preserve their rights and discuss their options. Even if they are friends with or related to the driver at fault, these types of accidents are the reason families have insurance. When someone they care about is injured or killed, insurance can provide the funds to pay for their injuries and/or losses.
