On January 27, Brandon Louis Stutheit, age 18, was driving with three passengers near Roy at the intersection of Eighth Avenue East and 304th Street when he ran a stop sign. Mr. Stutheit then collided with another car, killing the other driver and injuring his own passengers. The passengers suffered a broken sternum, crushed pelvis and possible spinal injuries. Mr. Stutheit confessed to having two beers and two shots prior to driving and did not have a license to drive.

The passengers have claims against Mr. Stutheit and may be able to recover under their own UIM policies. Both they and the family of the other driver killed in the accident should contact personal injury attorneys to protect their rights.

Mr. Stutheit has been charged with vehicular homicide and three counts of vehicular assault. For more information: Suspect in fatal collision pleads not guilty
