KOMO News reports that one person is dead and another suffered serious injuries in a head-on crash near Mill Creek Friday morning. The initial investigation showed a 32-year-old woman was driving southbound on SR-527 when she crossed the centerline in the 18300 block and collided head on with another car.
The driver of the other car, a 57-year-old Woodinville man, died on the way to the hospital. The woman was rushed to Harborview Medical Center with what are described as serious injuries. Neither car had a passenger.
The road was expected to be closed through early Friday afternoon for the accident investigation.
