On March 20 at approximately 4:30 a.m., a passer-by noticed a light in a field in Marysville. A car had launched over the railroad, rolling over several times before landing in the field. The 24-year-old passenger was trapped in the car and remains in grave condition at Harborview Medical Center. The 21-year-old driver suffered minor injuries and has been arrested for suspicion of vehicular assault. Authorities suspect speed was a factor in the accident and await blood test results to determine whether the driver was under the influence of any intoxicant.
