A Tacoma man died Friday night at Harborview Medical Center from injuries he suffered in an accident that killed his wife on Interstate 90 on Friday. Hoa Lam, 31, was a passenger in a 1994 Acura driven by his wife, Hgan Thi Than, 27, of Olympia. Than was driving west when she crossed into the eastbound lanes and went over the guardrail about six miles east of Ellensburg about 10:15 a.m., according to the Washington State Patrol. She was declared dead at the scene. The couple’s children, 6-year-old Bryan Lam and 1-year-old Karyn Lam, both of Tacoma, were taken to Kittitas Valley Community Hospital to be treated for cuts and bruises. Both were transferred to Harborview, a hospital official said.
