A three car accident stopped traffic for 45 minutes and sent one driver to the hospital on Sunday. The accident occurred when a driver pulled into traffic and struck a tow truck on 176th Street SW near 44th Avenue W in Lynnwood. The car then bounced off the tow truck and into a third vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle that caused the accident was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. Police believe alcohol played a role in the accident.
The drivers of the tow truck and the third vehicle have causes of action against the driver who pulled into traffic. If alcohol was involved in the accident and these drivers receive a judgment against the at-fault driver the debt is not dischargeable in bankruptcy.
More information about the accident is available in the following story in the Everett Herald: Alcohol Involved in Lynnwood Accident.
