This week, many communities will be participating in town-hall meetings to increase awareness regarding underage drinking. According to DSHS, underage drinking is a leading concern in the state. According to a state survey, one of five high school sophomores had recently had at least five alcoholic beverages. These meetings will provide information on underage drinking as well as ways to prevent it.
As more teens drink, it is more likely they will cause car accidents, ending in serious injury or even death. If you have been injured by an accident caused by alcohol, you should contact a personal injury attorney right away to preserve your rights.
