On March 2, a car was speeding southbound on Route 167 near Emerald Downs when it clipped a Jeep Cherokee, causing it to cross the median and collide with a semi-truck trailer and other cars traveling northbound. The 22-year-old driver in the Cherokee was trapped in the vehicle and suffered a broken femur. In addition, the driver’s 6-month-old infant was thrown from her car seat and was taken to Harborview Medical Center for medical treatment. Authorities arrested the speeding driver, who may face charges for reckless driving and disregard without safety for others.
The victims in this accident should contact a personal injury attorney as soon as possible to discuss their options regarding their own insurance, as well as their potential claims against the speeding driver.
